He has developed his musical career as a soloist, and with the famous guitar quartet Nexus, now called Roberto Fabbri Guitar Quartet.

Mr. Fabbri is regularly invited to perform and teach master class in many international guitar festivals and to judge at international competitions around the world.

Besides his work as a performer, Roberto Fabbri has written numerous compositions for guitar.

In 2012 Fabbri has signed with Sony Classical, and he has recorded his music in his new CD, Nei Tuoi Occhi. He is the headmaster and teacher of classical guitar at the Academy Novamusica e Arte in Rome.

At present he teaches classical guitar at the State Conservatory F. Torrefranca in Vibo Valentia and at the Institute of High Artistic and Musical Formation Giulio Briccialdi in Terni.

As an organizer, he is the artistic director of Fiuggi Guitar Festival.

Roberto Fabbri has carried out an intense didactic and editorial activity, cooperating with different publishing houses (Anthropos, Berben, Playgame, EMR, Warner Bros, Carisch).

He plays a Ramirez 125 Anniversary 2007 n.1 and uses “D’Addario” strings.

“Roberto Fabbri is flamboyant and technically astonishing — a definite crowd pleaser. His own compositions range from unabashedly pretty to exuberant barn-burners, often with a pop sensibility.” — Soundboard 2007
