Living in Space and the Future of Space Exploration to Jupiter

Dr. Jan Dabrowski, associate professor, science & interdisciplinary studies at Marylhurst University, began his science career at the age of five with a visit to the Hayden Planetarium in New York City. He has maintained an avid interest in astronomy, physics and other sciences ever since. He’ll explain how astronauts live in space.

Part of the Lake Oswego Reads event series.

Lake Oswego Public Library invites the entire community to participate in this year’s 2018 Lake Oswego Reads program. The success of the program over the past eleven years demonstrates our community’s love of books, intellectual pursuits and thoughtful discussion. During the month of February, the Lake Oswego Public Library, local schools, businesses and organizations will offer special programs and festivities connected with Good Morning, Midnight.

Whether or not you read the book, participate as much as you can and learn about the Arctic, living in space, HAM radio communications, polar bears, isolation/separation anxiety and more. Events kick off with a book giveaway on January 8, 2018. » See all LO Reads events
